K Kut outs- Jan 26

K- “Kutouts“- We will be cutting the subjects in the photos for this page. Cutting out the subjects of the photos can make the photos act like an embellishment .
The first page is done on patterned papers, and the other page is done on cardstock so that you can do the journalling.
You can choose the layout you like or choose one of my layouts….the challenge for this day is to use cutouts. If you have a nice long story to tell you can do the one with all the journalling, its a fun way to add a story.

There is no one signed up for snack.

J- Just One Photo

This is my sample for this week. The page will have the three graduations on it when Jason finishes his engineering at the u of s.
One of the ideas of this page is to make a “soft” page. Try to think of using ink and papers that compliment th e one special photo.

PS. I think it looks better in real life!…lol

We are using two photos for this first page. The second page is your own choice, you can follow mine if you like. the template is in the ABC pages for the first page. You will want a few photos for the second page and you can cut them to fit. A bit of a stripe will be needed for the top and some cardstock. A stip of cardstock is used for the strip across the bottom of the vertical stripes.
You will notice I changed the journalling block a little. it is your choice which one you do.

ps.. note that i didnt ink the page before i took this pic.
